Assassin's Creed Unveils Surprising AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Uncovered
According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of prohibited rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.
The questline focuses on "bizarre trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana alongside several objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Latest Free Story Addition
This update also introduces the game's third free story content, titled "A Puzzlement." This lighthearted mission partners Naoe and Yasuke as they swap distinctive abilities: Naoe debuts a theatrical interpretation of Yasuke's war kick, while Yasuke acquires non-fatal stealth takedowns. Loyal to its name, "The Enigma" also contains a original environmental puzzle that may finally explain some lingering questions from the main storyline.
